細菌與古菌病毒(Bacteria & Archaea Viruses)-2022

專門感染細菌的病毒稱為噬菌體，細菌與古菌跟植物一樣有細胞壁，所以當年在三域說提出之前，細菌是歸到植物界，也沒有古菌這種名詞，生物三域學說是1990年代才提出的。也因為細菌有細胞壁，所以噬菌體通常是透過溶菌酶溶解細胞壁中的肽聚糖，頭部核酸通過尾管注入到細菌中。人類會注意的細菌跟古菌也通常是跟自己相關疾病或經濟活動用途的為主，不相關的通常也不太會去注意。
